The Byzantine Christians: Antagonists or Antagonized? Addendum

In this final segment https://islamunmasked.com/2016/11/13/the-byzantine-christians-antagonists-or-antagonized-pt-3/, we are going to cite some additional reports, which further give the readers an idea of the real reason behind all of Muhammad’s raids upon unsuspecting victims.

Truth be told, Muhammad and his men were nothing more than murdering bandits who used religion as a means of amassing great wealth and sex slaves, a fact acknowledged by both the Quran and ahadith.

For instance, the Quran testifies that Allah found Muhammad poor and made him rich,

Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? And did He not find you in need AND MAKE YOU RICH? S. 93:6-8 Muhammad Sarwar

And did so through all the military expeditions and conquests that Muhammad had his men engage in:

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Whenever a dead man in debt was brought to Allah’s Apostle he would ask, “Has he left anything to repay his debt?” If he was informed that he had left something to repay his debts, he would offer his funeral prayer, otherwise he would tell the Muslims to offer their friend’s funeral prayer. When Allah made the Prophet wealthy THROUGH CONQUESTS, he said, “I am more rightful than other believers to be the guardian of the believers, so if a Muslim dies while in debt, I am responsible for the repayment of his debt, and whoever leaves wealth (after his death) it will belong to his heirs.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 37, Number 495 http://searchtruth.com/book_display.php?book=37&translator=1&start=0&number=495)

In fact, the Muslims were expressly told that their entire war booty belonged to Allah and his “messenger”,

They ask thee (O Muhammad) of the spoils of war. Say: The spoils of war belong to Allah and the messenger, so keep your duty to Allah, and adjust the matter of your difference, and obey Allah and His messenger, if ye are (true) believers. S. 8:1 Pickthall

And therefore had to be content with whatever amount Muhammad decided to give them,

And know that whatever ye take as spoils of war, lo! a fifth thereof is for Allah, and for the messenger and for the kinsman (who hath need) and orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, if ye believe in Allah and that which We revealed unto Our slave on the Day of Discrimination, the day when the two armies met. And Allah is Able to do all things. S. 8:41 Pickthall

Since Muhammad taught that the whole earth and all that is it in belonged to him and his god:

And whatever Allah restored to His Messenger from them you did not press forward against it any horse or a riding camel but Allah gives authority to His messengers against whom He pleases, and Allah has power over all things. Whatever Allah has restored to His Messenger from the people of the towns, it is for Allah AND for the Messenger, and for the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, so that it may not be a thing taken by turns among the rich of you, and whatever the Messenger gives you, accept it, and from whatever he forbids you keep back, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is severe in retributing (evil): S. 59:6-7

VI: Expelling the Jews from the Arabian peninsula

‘Umar said that the Prophet said, “We will let you remain in that as long as Allah lets you remain there.”

2996. It is related that Abu Hurayra said, “While we were in the mosque, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came out and said, ‘Go to the Jews.’ We went out until we came to the house of al-Midras. He said, ‘Become Muslim and you will be safe.Know that the earth belongs to Allah AND His Messenger. I want to expel you from this land. Whoever of you has some property should sell it. However, the earth belongs to Allah AND His Messenger.’” (Bewley, Sahih Collection of al-Bukhari, Chapter 63. Chapters on the Jizya and Truces http://bewley.virtualave.net/bukhari24.html#khumus; capital, italicized and underline emphasis ours)

Muhammad became so wealthy that he ended up owning 12 houses, a house for each one of his wives and concubines to live in!

O believers, enter not the HOUSES of the Prophet, except leave is given you for a meal, without watching for its hour. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have had the meal, disperse, neither lingering for idle talk; that is hurtful to the Prophet, and he is ashamed before you; but God is not ashamed before the truth. And when you ask his wives for any object, ask them from behind a curtain; that is cleaner for your hearts and theirs. It is not for you to hurt God’s Messenger, neither to marry his wives after him, ever; surely that would be, in God’s sight, a monstrous thing. S. 33:53 Arberry

And, as we noted in the third segment of our rebuttal, the whole purpose of allowing Jews and Christians to retain their respective faiths was because of the Jizyah that they would be forced to pay, since this was the compensation that Allah promised to give to the Muslims for the financial loss they would experience as a result of banishing the pagans from coming and doing business at Mecca:

O believers, the idolaters are indeed unclean; so let them not come near the Holy Mosque after this year of theirs. If you fear poverty, God shall surely enrich you of His bounty, if He will; God is All-knowing; All-wise. Fight those who believe not in God and the Last Day and do not forbid what God and His Messenger have forbidden — such men as practise not the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book — until they pay the tribute out of hand and have been humbled. S. 9:28-29 Arberry

From the foregoing we can see that Muhammad was far from being destitute and that Islam turned out to be a very lucrative endeavor for both Muhammad and the Muslims.

That’s not all Muhammad and his men received from their military expeditions. Allah permitted his “messenger” and the “faithful” to take women as sex slaves whom they could either keep or sell of as chattel:

“… Then Mas’ud said, ‘O Messenger of God, yesterday I think I met a man from ‘Abd al-Qays and I invited him to Islam and I awakened in him a desire for Islam.’ The Messenger replied, ‘Surely his conversion through your hands is better for you than whatever he could have under the sun.’ Then he said, ‘Stay with us until we meet our enemy, for indeed I hope that God will grant us their property as spoil.’

“He said, I went with the Messenger of God when God plundered their property and their children for him… The prisoners were two hundred people of the House. Juwayriyya, the daughter of al-Harith, arrived as the portion of Thabit b. Qays and his cousin. [Page 411] Thabit contracted her to release her for nine ounces of gold.

“‘Abdullah b. Yazid b. Qusayt related to me from his father from Thawban, from ‘A’isha. She said: While the Prophet was with me at the water, she came before him and asked about her contract of release. ‘A’isha said: By God, as soon as I saw her, I hated her coming to the Prophet, for I knew he would see her as I did… The Messenger of God said, ‘Or better than that?’ She said, ‘What is it, O Messenger of God?’ He replied, ‘I will pay for your contract and I will marry you.’ She said, ‘Yes, O Messenger of God, I agree.’… The Messenger of God paid for her contract, released her and married her. The news went out to the people. Men of the Banu Mustaliq had been apportioned and become property, AND THEIR WOMEN TAKEN SEXUALLY. They now said, ‘These are the relatives of the Prophet by marriage!’ They set free the prisoners they held. ‘A’isha said, ‘A hundred from her family were released with the marriage of the Messenger of God to her. I do not know a woman who was a greater blessing for her people than her.’… Some say: Indeed the Messenger of God made her bridal contract the release of every prisoner from the Banu Mustaliq, while others say that he made her bridal contract the release of forty of her people.” (Al-Waqidi, The Life of Muhammad, pp. 200-202; bold and capital emphasis ours)

And:

“… We set out with the Messenger of God for the raid of the Banu Mustaliq and we captured prisoners. With us was a desire for women strengthened by our bachelorhood, but we preferred the ransom, so we practiced safe sex, and we said, ‘We will keep the women from impregnation.’ The Messenger of God was in our midst before we asked him about that. We asked him and he replied, ‘I do not recommend it. Indeed, a creation that God intended will be to the Day of Judgment.’” (Ibid.; bold emphasis ours)

As if it couldn’t get any more morally reprehensible, Muhammad’s deity further permitted the Muslims to commit adultery with married women that had been taken captive!

According to the ahadith the following verse,

Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess: Thus hath God ordained (Prohibitions) against you: Except for these, all others are lawful, provided ye seek (them in marriage) with gifts from your property, – desiring chastity, not lust, seeing that ye derive benefit from them, give them their dowers (at least) as prescribed; but if, after a dower is prescribed, agree Mutually (to vary it), there is no blame on you, and God is All-knowing, All-wise. S. 4:24 Y. Ali

Was “revealed” to justify this rather morally repugnant practice:

Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa’id al Khadri: O Abu Sa’id, did you hear Allah’s Messenger mentioning al-‘azl? He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah’s Messenger on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them.So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing ‘azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah’s Messenger, and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born. (Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Number 3371 http://searchtruth.com/book_display.php?book=008&translator=2&start=0&number=3371)

Abu Said al-Khudri said: The apostle of Allah sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them. They defeated them and took them captives. Some of the Companions of the Apostle of Allah were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Quranic verse, ‘And all married women (are forbidden) unto you save those (captives) whom your right hands possess’. That is to say, they are lawful for them when they complete their waiting period.

These next reports give us an idea of just how cruel and inhumane Muhammad and his followers truly were towards those who refused to believe in the lie of Islam:

Salama b. al-Akwa’ set out seeking a man of theirs kill. He was thorough in his search, and he captured a girl, the daughter of Malik b. Hudhayfa b. Badr, whom he found in one of their houses–her mother was Umm Qirfa. Umm Qirfa was Fatima, daughter of Rabi’a b. Zayd–and they plundered. Zayd b. Haritha came forward, and Salama b. al-Akwa’ approached with the girl. Zayd mentioned to the Prophet and he mentioned her beauty to him. The Prophet said, “What girl did you take, O Salama?” He replied, “A girl, O Messenger of God, with whom I hope to ransom a woman of ours from Banu Fazara.” The Prophet repeated his question a second and a third time, “What girl did you take?” Until Salama knew that he wanted her, so he gave her to him. The Prophet gifted her to Hazan b. Abi Wahb. She bore him a daughter, and he did not have another child by her…

A RECORD OF THOSE KILLED AT UMM QIRFA

Qays b. al-Mubassir killed Umm Qirfa–VIOLENTLY. He tied a rope between her legs then tied it between two camels. SHE WAS AN OLD LADY. ‘Abdullah b. Mas’sada was killed as was Qays b. al-Nu’man b. Mas’ada b. Hakama b. Malik b. Badr. (Al-Waqidi, pp. 277-278; capital emphasis ours)

And:

Barbarous execution of Omm Kirfa

Omm Kirfa, aunt of Uyeina, who had gained celebrity as the mistress of this nest of robbers, was taken prisoner with her daughter. Neither the sex, nor the great age of Omm Kirfa, saved her from a death of extreme barbarity. Her legs were tied each to a separate camel. The camels were driven in different directions, and thus she was torn in sunder. Two young brothers of the same family were also put to death. Zeid, on his return, hastened to visit Mahomet, who, eager to learn the intelligence, came forth to meet him with his dress ungirded; and learning the success of the expedition, embraced and kissed him. We read of no disapprobation expressed by the Prophet at the inhuman treatment of Omm Kirfa, and are therefore warranted in holding him to be an accomplice in the ferocious act. The daughter was given as a slave to Mahomet, who presented her to one of his followers.1

1 K. Wackidi 117. Omm Kirfa was grand–daughter of Badr, a patriarch of the tribe, and had married her cousin Malk, uncle of Uyeina. They formed a branch of the Fezara, which again belonged to the Bani Dzobian, a tribe of the Bani Ghatifan, vol i. p. ccxxiv. table. Hisn, the father, of Uyeina, was a leader in the battle of Jabala. Ibid. p. ccxxvi. The person who put Omm Kirfa to death was Cays ibn al Mohsin, a name I am not familiar with. (Sir William Muir, The Life of Mahomet [Smith, Elder, & Co., London, 1861], Volume IV, p. 13 http://answeringislam.net/Books/Muir/Life4/chap18.htm; bold and capital emphasis ours)

Notice the utter barbarity and inhumanity of Muhammad’s closest companions in tying an old woman’s legs to two camels in order to rip her apart!

Finally:

“They said: When Muhammad conquered Khaybar and was confident, Zaynab bt. al-Harith began to ask, ‘What part of lamb is most desirable to Muhammad?’ They said, ‘The forearm and the shoulder.’ She approached a goat of hers and slaughtered it. Then she took some potent poison–she had consulted the Jews about the poison and they agreed over this poison specifically. She poisoned the lamb, putting more on the forearms and the shoulder.

“When the sun went down, the Messenger of God prayed the Maghrib prayer and turned back to his house. He found Zaynab sitting in his seat. He inquired about it and she says, ‘Abu l-Qasim, it is a gift I bring you. The Messenger of God used to eat gifts, but he would not eat charity. He commanded that the gift be taken from her and placed before him. [Page 678] Then the Messenger of God said to his companions who were attending, or those who attended among them: ‘Draw near and eat.’ So they came close and put out their hands. The Messenger of God took the forearm, while Bishr b. al-Bara’ took the shinbone. The Messenger of God took a bite of it, and Bishr took a bite, and when the Messenger of God swallowed his food, Bishr also swallowed his. The Messenger of God said, ‘Stop! Surely this forearm informs me that it is poisoned.’ Bishr b. al-Bara’ said: ‘By God! I found that from the bite I ate, and what prevented me from spitting it out was that I hated to spoil your pleasure at your food, for when you swallowed what was in your hand I would not favor myself over you. I hoped only that you did not eat what was bad in it.’ Bishr did not move from his place until his color became like a head shawl (taylasan). His pain did not last a year. He did not change, except what was changed, and he died of it. It was said that he did not leave his place until he died.

“The Messenger of God lived for three more years. The Messenger of God called Zaynab, and said, ‘Did you poison the shoulder?’ She said, ‘Who told you?’ He replied, ‘The shoulder.’ She said, ‘Yes.’ He asked, ‘What persuaded you to do that?’ She said, ‘YOU KILLED MY FATHER, MY UNCLE AND MY HUSBAND. YOU TOOK FROM MY PEOPLE WHAT YOU TOOK. I said to myself: If he is a prophet he will be informed. The sheep will inform him of what I did. If he is a king, we will be relieved of him.’ There was disputation among us about her. A sayer said: The Messenger of God commanded about her AND SHE WAS KILLED, THEN CRUCIFIED. Another said that he had pardoned her. Three individuals put their hands in the food but did not swallow any of it. The Messenger of God commanded his companions to draw blood from the middle of their heads because of the sheep. The Messenger of God cupped blood from under his left arm. It was said he cupped blood from the nape of his neck. Abu Hind removed it with a horn and blade.

“[Page 679]. They said: The Mother of Bishr b. al-Bara’ used to say: I visited the Messenger of God during the sickness of which he died. He was feverish and I felt him and said, ‘I have not found what makes you sick on any other.’ The Messenger of God said, ‘Just as rewards are given us, so arterials inflicted upon us. People claim that the Messenger of God has pleurisy. God would not inflict it upon me. Rather, it is THE TOUCH OF SATAN caused by eating what I, and your son ate on the day of Khaybar. I will continue to feel pain until the time of death overwhelms me.’ The Messenger of God died a martyr. It was said that he who died of the lamb was Mubashshir b. al-Bara’. But Bishr is better confirmed with us. There is agreement upon it.” (Ibid., pp. 333-334; bold and capital emphasis ours)

Does anyone really blame this poor Jewish woman for trying to kill Muhammad by poison for murdering her loved ones?

What makes all of this rather unfortunate is that none of these injunctions have been abrogated, which means that Muslims can still go around attacking and murdering unsuspecting peoples, raping female captives, committing adultery with married women, and enslaving children for the sake of Allah and his “messenger”!

May the risen Lord of glory, God’s beloved Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ, deliver us and all the Muslims from this wicked, evil religion.
