THE NEW WORLD TRANSLATION PROVES JESUS IS UNCREATED!

In this post I will provide even more evidence from the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ (JWs) own Bible that Christ is the uncreated Son of God.

The inspired Scriptures state that God created all things:

“and should make everyone see the administration of the sacred secret that has been hidden through the ages in God, who created all things (ta panta).” Ephesians 3:9 New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures (Study Edition) (NWT)

The expression “all things” refers to the totality of creation, that the heavens and the earth and everything within them were brought into existence by God, just as the following texts affirm:

“On hearing this, they raised their voices with one accord to God and said: ‘Sovereign Lord, you are the One who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all the things (panta ta) in them,’” Acts 4:24 NWT

““Men, why are you doing these things? We too are humans having the same infirmities as you have. And we are declaring the good news to you, for you to turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all the things (panta ta) in them.” Acts 14:15 NWT

“Because from him and by him and for him are all things (ta panta). To him be the glory forever. Amen.” Romans 11:36 NWT

Moreover, the Hebrew Scriptures testify that God created all things by himself,

“He spreads out the heavens by himself, And he treads upon the high waves of the sea.” Job 9:8 NWT

“This is what Jehovah says, your Repurchaser, Who formed you since you were in the womb: ‘I am Jehovah, who made everything. I stretched out the heavens by myself, And I spread out the earth. Who was with me?’” Isaiah 44:24 NWT

A point reiterated in Jewish literature written before and during the time of Christ:

“Do not invite death by the error of your life, nor bring on destruction by the works of your hands; because God did not make death, and he does not delight in the death of the living. For he created all things (ta panta) that they might exist, and the generative forces of the world are wholesome, and there is no destructive poison in them; and the dominion of Hades is not on earth.” Wisdom of Solomon 1:12-15 RSV

“He has ordained the splendors of his wisdom, and he is from everlasting and to everlasting. Nothing can be added or taken away, and he needs no one to be his counselor.” Sirach 42:21

“My spirit was greatly agitated, and I began to speak anxious words to the Most High, and said, ‘O sovereign Lord, didst thou not speak at the beginning when thou didst form the earth — and that without help — and didst command the dust and it gave thee Adam, a lifeless body? Yet he was the workmanship of thy hands, and thou didst breathe into him the breath of life, and he was made alive in thy presence.’” 4 Ezra 3:3-5

“And he said to me, ‘At the beginning of the circle of the earth, before the portals of the world were in place, and before the assembled winds blew, and before the rumblings of thunder sounded, and before the flashes of lightning shone, and before the foundations of paradise were laid, and before the beautiful flowers were seen, and before the powers of movement were established, and before the innumerable hosts of angels were gathered together, and before the heights of the air were lifted up, and before the measures of the firmaments were named, and before the footstool of Zion was established, and before the present years were reckoned; and before the imaginations of those who now sin were estranged, and before those who stored up treasures of faith were sealed –then I planned these things, and they were made through me and not through another, just as the end shall come through me and not through another.’” 4 Ezra 6:1-4

This is where the problem lies for the JWs. According to the inspired New Testament writings, the Father and the Son together created all things that exist, since the Father employed the Son to bring the entire creation into being and to sustain it!

“there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things (ta panta) are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things (ta panta) are and we through him.” 1 Corinthians 8:6 NWT

Here is a list of various English renderings of this important verse:

“yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom all things come and for whom we exist; and one Lord, Yeshua the Messiah, through whom were created all things and through whom we have our being.” Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

“We have only one God, and he is the Father. He created everything, and we live for him. Jesus Christ is our only Lord. Everything was made by him, and by him life was given to us.” Contemporary English Version (CEV)

“For us there is only one God, and he is our Father. All things came from him, and we live for him. And there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ. All things were made through him, and we also have life through him.” Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

“for us there is only one God—the Father. All things came from him, and we live for him. And there is only one Lord—Jesus Christ. All things were made through him, and we also ·were made [exist; live] through him.’” Expanded Bible (EXB)

“But for us, ‘There is only one God, the Father. Everything came from him, and we live for him. There is only one Lord, Jesus Christ. Everything came into being through him, and we live because of him.’” GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

“yet there is for us only one God, the Father, who is the Creator of all things and for whom we live; and there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created and through whom we live.” Good News Translation (GNT)

“yet for us there is one God, the Father. All things are from Him, and we exist for Him. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ. All things are through Him, and we exist through Him.” Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

“yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom everything came into being and for whom we live. And there is only one Lord, Jesus the Messiah, through whom everything came into being and through whom we live.” International Standard Version (ISV)

“in fact, to us there is only one God, the Father, from whom everything comes, and for who we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom everything exists, and by whom we ourselves are alive.” J. B. Phillips New Testament (PHILLIPS)

“But we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created all things and made us to be his own; and one Lord Jesus Christ, who made everything and gives us life.” Living Bible (TLB)

“But for us, ‘There is only one God, the Father. Everything came from him, and we live for him. There is only one Lord, Yeshua Christ. Everything came into being through him, and we live because of him.’” Names of God Bible (NOG)

“But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live.” New Living Translation (NLT)

Now since the expression “all things” refers to the entire creation this shows that, since God employed Jesus to create all things, Christ was personally there with the Father before the entire creation even existed. And since Jesus personally existed before all creation then this proves he is not a creature but rather he is the eternal Creator along with the Father!

Here is a breakdown of this vitally important text to make its implications clearer for the readers:

  1. God the Father created all things through his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
  2. The phrase “all things” refers to the entire creation, to everything that has been created.
  3. This means that both Father and Son have been personally existing together before creation came into being.
  4.  Since the Son has existed from before the entire creation then he cannot be a creature.
  5. This means that Christ, like the Father, is uncreated and eternal by nature.
  6. Since God alone is uncreated and eternal, this shows that both the Father and the Son (along with the Holy Spirit) have eternally been existing as the one true God.

JWs you have a problem!
